Walking
The gentler terrain of the Alpujarras offer great walking trails for all. Choose from day or multi day tours along the GR7 or GR142 or walks around the Poqueira Gorge or "White Villages". The Cumbres Verdes range just south of Granada also gives marvellous walking. We offer day and multi day hiking and walking possibilities, where your bags are forwarded in advance. The Lecrin Valley area is quiet and unspoilt and offers alternative and varied types of walking. Further afield, the mountains of the Huetor Natural Park, Almijara and the Deserts of Tabernas, Almeria offer great alternative and remote destinations.
Trekking
The high mountains offer great trekking opportunities. From the 5 day Traverse of the 3000m Peaks (Los Tres Miles), to 1 or 2 day ascents of Mulhacen (3481m) the highest peak in Spain, there is something for all. We also offer 2 or 3 day, north to south crossings of the range, taking in the remote and lesser known peaks and valleys. We run year round individual ascents of all the major peaks.
Mountaineering
With guaranteed snow from December to May each winter ,this is one of the best places to learn mountaineering skills in the high mountains. We offer winter skills and alpine introduction courses. In addition we provide year round holidays for those interested in scrambling or starting to rock climb. Also try out the "scariest path in the world", the Camino del Rey.
Ski Touring/Snowshoeing
If you love walking the winter hills, enjoy skiing and fancy getting away from the crowded pistes, then ski touring may be for you? With quiet and snowsure mountains, this is the one of the best areas of Spain to learn and practice this wonderful sport. Personalized downhill skiing instruction is also available as is snowshoeing through incredible winter landscapes.
Self Guided
For walkers, trekkers, climbers, groups and adventurers, we offer a year round self guided support service. We provide the transport to/from airport and trailhead, choice of accommodation, maps, gas, dehydrated food, gps, gear hire, sat phones, information on snow conditions, routes etc. This ensures you spend maximum time in the mountains for minimum cost!
Patagonia
We run a bi annual expedition (Nov and Dec) to the Patagonian Icefield encircling the Mount Fitroy and Cerro Torre massifs. The Icecap is the largest piece of ice in the world outside the polar regions. It is very special and gives us the chance of a lifetime to sample the nearest thing you will get to an antarctic experience without going there!
